Liberian Refugee Immigration Fairness Program (LRIF)

Liberian Refugee Immigration Fairness Program (LRIF) application to adjust deadline ...

    Liberian nationals in the United States and certain family members could apply for Adjustment of Status if living in the United States since November 20, 2014.  Green card applications could be filed until December 20, 2020.

Adjustment of Status application is subject to the normal scrutiny but unlawful entrants are permitted to apply.

Continuous residence requirement applies to principal applicant.



 

Eligible Liberians are:

1.  residing in the United States since Novemebr 20, 2014;

2. not more than 180 days of absence from the U.S.;

3. otherwise admissible but may be eligible for waivers;

4. spouses and children under 21 years of age can also apply regardless of nationality.

5. must apply before the dead line.
